APERTURE CHAIR
Made entirely from our unique composite resin MetaMATERIAL, featuring three of our signature patterns.
Each pattern has its own unique casting process, specifically developed to emphasize the different facets of our versatile material. Our Retrograde pattern has a reversible colorway featuring graphic shapes and bold color blocking. Our Frequency pattern captures the fluidity of the resin curing process, resulting in a hyper-detailed microcosm of layered organic lines. Lastly, our Satellite pattern collages all of our processes together to create floating rhythmic compositions that play with shape, detail and scale.
Named for the opening and closing of a lens, a reference to the circular shapes and varied scale of our patterns as well as the structural design of the piece. The pieces intersecting planes highlight the double-sided nature of our material and give way to new patterns as one moves around the piece.
This design is fully customizable and we look forward to making a custom MetaMATERIAL piece for you.
